近日e-Learning 研究领域普遍弥漫着一种悲观的情绪。目前e-Learning 的规范和标准工作越来越多，也逐步进入了不同的分支，但是实际在应用领域还缺乏有说服力的案例。而且e-Learning 市场上的反映也并非让人能够兴奋之至，这不仅让研究领域产生了困惑，究竟是因为跨学科导致的问题，还是e-Learning 本身理念存在危机？Stephen Downes 收集一些近期对e-Learning 质疑的有关资料，我也作了如下评论：

Although recent buzzes focus on e-Learning effectiveness. I don't think e-Learning is in it's crisis. However, the marketing facts may push us to seek innovative new ways to make e-Learning literacy immersion into people's lifelong learning activities. The new ways may include more interactive and rich learning experiences. Not just focusing on content interoperability.

我的观点仍然是，这正需要更加紧密的跨学科合作和综合素质的人才。单纯的教育研究和信息技术出发的e-Learning 都可能会导致这种危机，而众所周知，教育界是一个陈旧和传统风气很重的领域，没有摧枯拉朽的创新是不能对他们产生深刻的作用的。
