联合早报：街群控制与和谐社会：
打造和谐社会，不是说社会中的各类矛盾因此也就不会存在了，而是应通过公开和正常的渠道解决和纾解矛盾，让社会各阶层人士都有机会宣泄自己意见。所谓“正常”，就是说宣泄的活动一定要在法律允许范围内进行，并受到法律的保护。
……在某种意义上说，街群控制是民主社会存在的基本功。绝对没有人会因为警察在对街头集会示威游行实行强制手段，加强社会秩序管理而指责政府压制人权。相反，如果政府不让民众走向街头，却反而会被指责为压制人权。而对游行管理不严，造成人财物的损害，特别是其他国家人财物的损害时，也会受到他国的指责。
May 1st holiday in China
It’s a long public holiday in China now. The Labor Day holidy will last from 5/1 to 5/7 by moving near weekends days togther. The China government encourages people to take such long holiday to travel and improve the travelling economy. It works in the first two years when this policy initially introduced. However, more and more people are tired of such arrangement by government today. They’d prefer to stay in home to rest instead of joining huge mass anywhere.
Anyway, to the rest of us, haveing a good rest is not a bad idea.
