Can Google Web Accelerator help bypass Great Firewall?

The Google Web Accelerator(GWA) debuted days ago and now "have currently reached our
maximum capacity of users". Some Chinese bloggers has reported that it can bypass the Great Firewall with a high speed to access playboy.com, wenxuecity, etc. that long been blocked by GFW.

But it's too early to cheer. I can't imagine any innovations in GWA except some cacheing technologies. Just like google news, it can also be easily blocked by GFW by simply putting some new urls into it's blacklist. No wonder bloggers reported again just after hours that GFW has successfully blocked GWA's channel to those blocked sites. The accelerator, no exception, crashed in front of the wall.

GWA v.s. GFW, GFW win for the first round , sigh....
